Writing for Children

As a retired homeschool mother, I love reading to and writing for children. I created a website for parents and educators to read reviews of children’s literature and young adult fiction. bblogoReviews to Help You Choose! For more, go directly to BookBlurbs.org.

I’m also part of a community of children’s authors who write the KidLit Journal. It’s a quarterly publication for our readers and their parents filled with activities, crafts, book reviews, contests, and more! Kidlitspring19

Currently I’m looking to publish the following children’s picture books:

  • The Secret Silent ABCs (Silent Letter ABCs for second and third graders)
  • Alpaca an Apple (ABC picture book based on the car game – I’m going on a picnic)
  • Nana’s Still Nana (A picture book dealing with family members dealing with the onset of Alzheimer’s)
  • What If series: What If Mommy Decorated with Toilet Paper Streamers? What If I Were An Only Child? What If I Didn’t Tell the Truth? and What If We Miss Christmas? (A picture book series which uses the imagination of a six-year-old to deal with questions and fears young children face)

I’m also working on early chapter books and a couple young adult novels. Please pray for me as I seek to serve the Lord in these endeavors.

Thanks so much!
